 Shipping containers can be placed directly on any solid level ground. If placed at a slight incline/decline, the cargo doors become stiff to operate and only resetting the unit to level will help this issue. 

 Shipping containers can be place directly on the ground, but we recommend preparing a foundation with cinder blocks, railroad ties, garden pavers, etc. to prevent corrosion.
